Community Thought Leader
Albus Wang(they/them) is a non-binary Mongolian Chinese activist, community organizer, writer, makeup artist, and Tarot reader based in Los Angeles and Beijing. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. degree in Theatre Arts, Albus continued to study beauty and special effects makeup at Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles.
With background in visual arts, film, theatre, writing, makeup, and divination, Albus seeks to liberate and empower transgender folks through art, storytelling, and spirituality.
Albus has worked with numerous non-profit organizations in the U.S. and China including Viet Rainbow of Orange County, LA LGBT Center, Q Youth Foundation, Chinese Students and Activists Network, LGBT Student Service at LMU, Pacific Arts Movement, APLA Health, United Proud Womxn, Trans Empower Center(Beijing), and Beijing LGBT Center.
